Day 2: Castel del Monte and Trani
- Breakfast, then travel through the countryside to Castel del Monte (UNESCO heritage site). ( insert link) Paint or sketch this fascinating castle built by Fredrick II, the panoramic vistas of the adriatic coast, and the ancestral olive groves.
- Sack lunch, then depart for the coastal town of Trani, the jewel of the Adriatic. (insert link). Time to paint or sketch along its beautiful waterfront.
- Dinner at a Pizzeria, experience the breezy night life of Trani’s well-preserved historic center.

Day 3: Val d'Itria and Alberobello
- Breakfast, then wander through the rolling hills of the Val d’Itria enroute to Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site. (insert link) Time to paint or sketch its famous "trulli" (white houses with conical stone roofs).
- Lunch in a local restaurant.

- Walk, sketch and paint in the Apulian capital city, discover its famous basilicata of San Nicola, and stroll the waterfront.

Day 5: Ostuni and Polignano
- Breakfast, then head out to Ostuni, "The White City". (insert link) See astonishing views of the surrounding countryside and the Adriatic Sea. Walk through its labyrinth of alleyways and cobblestone streets which are ideal for sketching and exploring on foot.
- Traditional mid-day (large) lunch in Ostuni, in a fabulous “slow food” restaurant nestled next to an ancient subterranean olive oil press.
- Visit the small town of Polignano, (insert link) a wonderful seaside town perched on a cliff.
- Return to Giovinazzo, informal critic of the days work.
- Evening is free to dine locally, explore, or simply rest.

- Breakfast, then leave the Adriatic behind and explore Puglia's inland to Matera, (insert link) home of the famous “Sassi”, the 3rd UNESCO heritage site on this tour. Visit, paint and sketch among the natural caves, old churches and houses linked only by pedestrian passageways.
- Sack lunch.
- Return to Giovinazzo, informal critic of the days work. Dinner at a pizzeria.
Day 7: Giovinazzo and Barlettta
- Last full day: breakfast, then a free morning in town. Head north to Barletta to visit the works of Giuseppe De Nittis, housed in a spectacular old museum. (insert link)
- Sack lunch.
- Our final dinner at a "risottoria", bittersweet though it may be to know that your trip will soon be ending.

Day 8: Fond Farewells
- Breakfast together, then we’ll wrap up our amazing adventure. Transportation to the airport or train station where you'll continue on to further journeys, or head to your homes.
